To raise funds in sustaining the De La Salle University-Dasmariñas’ (DLSU-D) scholarship programs, the College of Business Administration and Accountancy Student Government (CBAASG) will hold a four-part thanksgiving and fundraising event titled “LIWANAG: Paggunita ng Pasasalamat at Kahusayan.”

LIWANAG 2022 is composed of four activities namely the Christmas Lighting, the college’s Dean Lister’s Awarding, Faculty Christmas Party, and a benefit concert.

“As the word speaks for itself, LIWANAG is a light that brings hope and inspiration to many,” according to CBAASG’s Associate Director of Outreach and Initiatives Sasha Yohayn Dagsa, adding that their organization wants to embody that light for the financially challenged students.

The beneficiaries of LIWANAG 2022 include HANGO Project, a program launched by CBAA to support the Lasallian Zero Poverty Initiative, the One La Salle Endowment Fund (OLSEF), an investment used to fund Lasallian scholars, and the CBAA scholarship program.

Gleniery Peralta, CBAASG’s Director of Outreach and Initiatives, also shared that they will allocate part of their proceeds for the organization’s 100% scholarships given to selected CBAA students while stating, “LIWANAG para sa pangarap ng mga kapwa mag-aaral.”

The Christmas lighting event happened on December 2 at the CBAA grounds while the last three events of LIWANAG 2022 will happen tomorrow, December 12.

The Dean’s Lister Awarding ceremony will commence at the Ugnayang La Salle (ULS) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm while the Faculty Christmas Party will take place at the CBAA lobby from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Meanwhile, the benefit concert will happen at the ULS from 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

The benefit concert is open to all DLSU-D students and alumni. To buy or claim your tickets, go to the walk-in booth located at the ULS on the concert day from 12:00 pm onwards.
