DLSU-D to plan for limited face-to-face classes

The De La Salle University- Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) will lay out  its new plan of action towards Commission on Higher Education’s (CHEd) latest announcement about opening up all degree programs for a possible limited face to face classes within areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) and places with high vaccination rates.

According to the Office of Student Services (OSS) Dean Dr. Domingo Reblora Jr., the University was already preparing for remote face-to-face classes as early as the beginning of second semester, 2020 to 2021, and was trying to set up all the necessary preparations for the said laboratory limited face-to-face classes.

However, all these preparations were suspended due to the emergence of the Delta variant of COVID-19 and the eventual Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) advised lockdowns.

Reblora emphasized that the University is ready to accept Lasallians physically, in accordance with CHED’s recent advisory about the possible limited face to face classes happening within the next couple of months. 

However, generic elective subjects will still remain online for now.

The OSS Dean added that a meeting with the rest of the deans will follow regarding this new update from CHED and warns that there might be drastic changes happening soon to their last semester plans.
