Lasallian Pointes and Flexes Dance Company (LPNFDC) teams up with Be the Juan PH, a non-government organization, to raise funds for Filipinos greatly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic through offering a week-long workout, zumba, and dance online classes.
Dubbed as “Move as One for Every Juan,” the fundraising drive will be streamed live from April 25- April 30 every 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm at LPNFDC’s Facebook Page.
Performers from various dance organizations and LPFDC alumni will complete the lineup of guest dance instructors for the online sessions.
In an exclusive interview with Green FM, Project Head Nicolei Marcelo shared that all funds that will be collected in the initiative will be forwarded to Be The Juan PH. “[They] will utilize the funds for relief goods and other basic needs. They have been helping poor urban communities and their next target is actually Tondo, Manila,” Marcelo said.
