The SINAG Society of Leaders (SISOL) will launch their fun run initiative tomorrow, November 18, to benefit Bahay Tuluyan, Bahay Pag-Asa, and Our Lady’s Pantry.
The event titled, “SISOLakbo: Igniting the Lasallian Spirit” is a combined crowdfunding, outreach, and spiritual event that aims to provide in-kind donations for the beneficiaries.
According to Director for Outreach Activities, Richelle Cruz, this fun run event intends to unite the Lasallian community through fitness activities while helping the marginalized sectors.
“Estudyante muna—but this time, we want to highlight the power of every student [on] how we can enjoy as well as help those who are in need,” Cruz emphasized.
Cruz added that this tri-fold event was their chance to serve the community, “We took the chance to create (this tri-fold event) but with a difference [for a cause].”
After the fun run initiative, SISOL volunteers will give the in-kind donations to the three beneficiaries then conduct a spiritual and outreach activity with them on November 29.
SISOL is the longest-running and premier leadership organization in De La Salle University-Dasmariñas. For more information, visit https://www.facebook.com/SINAGSocietyofLeaders?mibextid=ZbWKwL
