With less than a month before the anticipated national election on May 9, votes for incumbent Vice President and presidential candidate Leni Robredo, and her running mate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan reigns in the De La Salle-University Dasmariñas (DLSU-D) community after leading two of its mock election surveys.

On March 21 to 30, the DLSU-D University Student Government’s Department of Outreach released a Presidential and Vice Presidential Pulse Survey, as part of its election initiatives, where the University’s students, faculty members, and staff can participate.

With 2,832 voter turnout, the tandem leads the presidential and vice-presidential survey, with Robredo garnering 2,272 (80.23%) votes and Pangilinan with 1,997 (70.51%) votes.

Meanwhile, the DLSU-D Communication Program Council (CPC) recently held a national mock election from April 4-8 titled “Animo Pulse: The Righteous Vote 2022,” exclusively for bonafide college students of the University.

1,983 of the 2,249 students who voted are registered voters, resulting in the University’s 28% of the estimated undergraduate population.

The official results posted on April 10 showed how Robredo and Pangilinan maintained their top spot with 1,917 votes for Robredo and 1,736 votes for Pangilinan.

Two presidential candidates also maintained their spots in the two surveys, with Bongbong Marcos landing the second spot followed by Senator Ping Lacson in the third spot.

Furthermore, the top five vice-presidential preferences of the University also remained in order, with the second spot to Sara Duterte, the third to Doc Willie Ong, the fourth to Vicente “Tito” Sotto, and the fifth to Walden Bello.
