On May 15, DigiSalle (DMJ) fashioned a photo booth stand alongside De La Salle University – Dasmariñas AB Communication first-years for their Communication, Culture, and Society exhibit.
The photo booth was a chance to capture memories of the day and preserve them for a long time– making use of their ingenuity and teamwork to organize their booth within three days, starting from May 13, Monday, and the official exhibit beginning on May 15, Wednesday. The exhibit ended on the same day, garnering many visitors and happy customers.
DigiSalle’s “Pitik!” offered a four-photo print for 20PHP minimum, with the 20PHP pricing being offered if you get one physical strip, and 40PHP for two photo strips. If you’re a group with more than two members, you can get more strips for 20 pesos apiece. The standout feature of DigiSalle’s Media Mosaic Photobooth, however, is the free copy if you avail only the soft copy.
This feature displays an environmental awareness like no other, as printing on photo paper generates potential waste that could be harmful to the environment. DigiSalle has employed a highly aware viewpoint that is fitting of their status as the Pioneers of the Digital and Multimedia Journalism program– establishing their status as role models to future students in both DMJ and Comm programs.
Not only has DigiSalle contributed to the celebration of Communication, Culture, and Society, but also presented an interesting way of contributing to the betterment of the environment by lessening the potential use of inks as well as the use of photo paper for printing. May others follow the examples they’ve set, and may DigiSalle become even more successful in the years to come, chasing the bright future clearly in front of them.
